Match on Action research
the continuity shows that the clip shows the same picture in each frame whilst an action is taking place.
basically match on action is when something happens in a scene but then cuts the next scene is also showing the same action but from a different angle or perspective this helps the audience to understand what is happening in the scene. Above is an example of match on action.
for research on shot reverse/shot see 'Becky Gordon's' blog.
also for research on the 180 degree rule see 'Beth Funnell's' blog.

Taxi Driver
- Slow classical music
- Extreme Close ups of a character showing just his eyes and his emotions.
- The camera moves through a foggy/misty location
- It also shows various blurred lights from a city street
- and also has a dark atmosphere when it shows the black background and the dim lights.
Usual suspect notes
- Slow relaxed music
- White text stating title, directors, actors etc fading in and out
- Dark atmosphere light reflecting off of the water in the lake which change from white to a shade of blue but doesnt show where its coming from.
- After the opening credits the scene fades to black and shows the location where its placed (SAN PEDRO)
